Journalist Fatih Altaylı has announced who he will vote for in the March 31 Local Elections.
Stating that he will cast his vote for the incumbent IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Altaylı used the following expressions:
"We have seen the drawbacks of giving full authority over all of Turkey to one person. I do not find it right for all kinds of authority to be in the hands of one person."
In his column, Altaylı listed other candidates as follows:
"I would like to rank the ones I like the most among them.
The name I will put at number 1 is CHP's Istanbul Eyüp Mayoral candidate Mithat Bülent Özmen.
My second favorite is CHP Fatih Mayoral candidate Mahir Polat.
My third favorite candidate is CHP Üsküdar candidate Sinem Dedetaş.
My fourth favorite candidate is CHP Şişli candidate Resul Emrah Şahan.
This time, CHP has fielded a very good team in some places in Istanbul, that is clear."
