Criminal complaint from the Felicity Party: 'Israel' complaints have not been processed...
Members of the Felicity Party's Istanbul Provincial Presidency have submitted a criminal complaint petition to the prosecutor's office, alleging that public officials have stalled the criminal complaints they filed against Israeli officials on October 31, 2023, regarding the attacks on Gaza.
Making a press statement in front of the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan, Felicity Party Istanbul Legal Affairs Representative Lawyer Ramazan Boyalık stated that they had filed a criminal complaint on October 31, 2023, alleging that Israel had committed "crimes against humanity" and "genocide" in Gaza.
Stating that the laws grant judicial members the authority to open cases against Israeli officials who commit such crimes, Boyalık noted that despite the criminal complaint regarding Israeli officials, no case has been opened for 9 months.
Following the statements, Felicity Party Istanbul Provincial President Ömer Faruk Yazıcı submitted the criminal complaint petition to the prosecutor's office.
Afterward, party members held a sit-in protest in front of the courthouse.
