Femicide in Kocaeli

In the Körfez district of Kocaeli, a mother of 3 was found dead in her home. Her boyfriend, who was taken into custody on allegations of murdering the woman, was arrested by the court to which he was referred.

According to the information obtained, Nuhbe Yılmaz, a mother of 3 who resided on Rüzgarlı Street in the Esentepe neighborhood, was found dead in her home.

 As a result of the investigations and research conducted by the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department teams, her boyfriend, identified as C.Y.E., was apprehended and taken into custody on allegations of murdering the young woman. The suspect was arrested by the judicial authorities to whom he was referred following the procedures.
