Fenerbahçe unveils its new bus! 'Mourinho can even go to the corner store in it'

The delivery ceremony held at the Fenerbahçe Can Bartu Facilities was attended by Fenerbahçe Club Board Members Acun Ilıcalı, Burak Çağlan Kızılhan, and Hulusi Belgü, Gürsel Turizm Chairman of the Board Levent Birand, Vice Chairman of the Board Hürer Gündüz, Kadıköy District Governor Muhittin Pamuk, head coach Jose Mourinho, football A team captains Edin Dzeko and Mert Hakan Yandaş, as well as other guests.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary Burak Çağlan Kızılhan said, "We will travel to away games with our new bus beside us, and hopefully, we will return to Istanbul with 3 points and trophies. I wish our new bus to be auspicious for our team."

THE MOST EXPENSIVE AND LUXURIOUS BUS

Providing information about the bus to the AA reporter, Hürer Gündüz emphasized that the vehicle was custom-made for the 50th anniversary. 

Pointing out that Gürsel Turizm has been Fenerbahçe's transportation sponsor for 50 years, Gündüz stated, "We have been serving the club since the era of the legendary head coach Didi. We had this vehicle custom-built at the Hoşdere factory. The vehicle features all the amenities you would see in Mercedes' top segment and more. It is the most expensive and luxurious bus of its kind. Best of luck to the team. I hope it leads to very important successes." 

'MOURINHO LIKED THE BUS VERY MUCH'

Expressing that they chatted with head coach Jose Mourinho on the bus, Gündüz said: 

"Mourinho liked the bus very much. We told him, 'You can use it whenever you want, even when going to the corner store. This is a special bus. A special bus for a special name.' The workers at the factory wrote their prayers and special wishes on the chassis of the bus. It is a bus produced with love. Mourinho liked it a lot too. Hopefully, we will also let the board members drive the bus on the Formula 1 track. It is the best bus of its kind. There is the comfort of an airplane in this bus. Its suspension system, silence, and comfort are at a very high level. Your journey on this bus won't be as short as a plane, but you will travel more comfortably than on a plane."
