FETÖ operation in 17 provinces: 90 suspects apprehended

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 90 suspects were apprehended in the “KISKAÇ-18” operations conducted against FETÖ in 17 provinces over the last 4 days.

Yerlikaya stated the following in his post on X:

"As a result of the work carried out by the Provincial Security Directorates' Counter-Terrorism (TEM) and Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) branches, under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's Intelligence Department, KOM Department, and Counter-Terrorism Department; in the “KISKAÇ-18” operations conducted against FETÖ in Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bursa, Bitlis, Denizli, Edirne, Gaziantep, Giresun, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, Kütahya, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, and Tekirdağ, it was determined that the suspects;

Were active within the organization's so-called 'Police Secret Structure, Judicial Secret Structure, and Current Structure,' communicated via payphones, and were in contact with individuals responsible within the organization; were mentioned in testimonies and identifications; were hiding in cell houses referred to by the organization as 'Gaybubet Houses' (safe houses); and had finalized prison sentences and arrest warrants against them within the scope of FETÖ investigations.

As a result of the operations: A large amount of foreign currency and Turkish Lira, as well as numerous digital materials and organizational documents, were seized."
