Fire at a chemical manufacturing plant in Beylikdüzü
A fire broke out in the basement of a factory producing chemical substances in the Haramidere Industrial Site. As flames rose, numerous fire crews were dispatched to the area, and their intervention is ongoing.
A fire broke out around 07:30 in the morning in the warehouse of a chemical factory located in the Beysan Industrial Site in Beylikdüzü, Haramidere.
The fire, which started for an as-yet-undetermined reason in the warehouse of the factory where soap and detergent are produced, grew rapidly and engulfed the entire warehouse.
WORKERS EVACUATED
Upon the rapid spread of the fire, all workers at the factory were quickly evacuated. While there was great panic in the vicinity of the factory, numerous fire crews from surrounding districts began to intervene in the fire.
INTERVENTION BY CREWS CONTINUES
Fire crews dispatched to the scene are working intensively to bring the fire under control. It has been reported that there have been no deaths or injuries so far. The cause of the fire will be clarified as a result of the investigations to be conducted.
