In Hakkari, 12 students and one teacher affected by smoke in a fire at an Imam Hatip high school dormitory have been taken to the hospital.
In the Yüksekova district of Hakkari, 12 students and one teacher were taken to the hospital after being affected by smoke in a fire that broke out at a school dormitory.
TREATED AT THE HOSPITAL
According to AA, a fire broke out for an as-yet-undetermined reason on the top floor of the Anatolian Imam Hatip High School dormitory in the Yeni neighborhood. Upon notification, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was brought under control with the intervention of the teams, and the students were evacuated from the building by officials. The 12 students and one teacher affected by the smoke were taken to the hospital. It was learned that the students and the teacher who received treatment at the hospital are in good condition. The fire caused damage to a section of the dormitory.
On the other hand, according to a report by Yüksekova Halkın Sesi, the fire that broke out in the evening at the Yenimahalle Anatolian Imam Hatip High School male student dormitory, where students reside, was caused by an electrical fault.
