A fire that broke out in a container where workers were staying at a private university construction site in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, was extinguished by fire crews.

The fire started for an as-yet-undetermined reason in a container used by workers at a construction site within the grounds of a private university on Osmanpaşa Mektebi Çıkmazı Street, off Çırağan Avenue.

Upon notification, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

Two workers affected by smoke were taken to the hospital following initial treatment by medical teams at the scene.

The fire was extinguished through the intervention of the fire department.
