Fire panic in Başakşehir! 3 people affected by smoke

According to the information obtained, a fire broke out around 10:00 AM on the top floor of a 14-story building within the Sedef Sitesi in the Kayabaşı neighborhood of Başakşehir. Upon reports from citizens who noticed the fire, which is estimated to have started from the electrical system according to initial findings, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

While fire crews worked to extinguish the blaze, police teams secured the perimeter. The teams reached the top floor of the building and made intensive efforts to put out the fire.

3 PEOPLE AFFECTED BY SMOKE

Residents in the apartments rushed out in a panic. As the building was being evacuated, 3 people were affected by smoke.

The citizens affected by the smoke were treated by medical teams at the scene. The fire was brought under control as a result of approximately 1 hour of work by the fire crews. The firefighting efforts were captured by drone.

In the footage, smoke was seen rising from between the solar panels on the roof, and fire crews were observed carrying out their work.
