The investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the central Bağlar district and whose lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8, continues.

Forensic Medicine has announced the cause of death for 8-year-old Narin.

According to a report by TRT Haber, it has been determined that little Narin was strangled to death.

91 samples were taken during Narin's autopsy procedures. According to the preliminary autopsy document, the 91 tissue samples were taken in a manner intended to uncover all types of crimes, including abuse.

In their initial impressions, forensic experts determined that significant decomposition had begun on the child's body.

The report stated, "There is no visible sharp-force or penetrating tool injury or firearm injury."

It was also noted that no evidence of internal bleeding was found.

It was emphasized that due to the decomposition of the body, no statement could be made regarding the time of death.

Some of the tissue samples were sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute.
