Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Sadettin Saran, who was detained as part of a drug investigation, was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace following prosecution procedures. The court decided to impose a judicial control measure on Saran, requiring him to sign in on Mondays and Thursdays.

HE WENT TO THE CLUB AFTER THE DECISION

Following the judge's decision, members of the Fenerbahçe Board of Directors moved from the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan to the Chobani Stadium, where the club headquarters is located. It was reported that Sadettin Saran, who was released under judicial control, also went directly to the club headquarters.

Saran, who was seen in the presidential office, was reported to be focusing on the transfer process and club operations. According to information shared by journalist Gürkan Ak, it was stated that Fenerbahçe Sports Club does not plan to make an official statement regarding the matter within the same day.

Sadettin Saran gave a statement as part of the investigation conducted over allegations of drug use. Within the scope of the investigation, blood, urine, nail, and hair samples were taken from Saran. It was reported that traces of cocaine were found in the hair sample analysis.

Saran denied the allegations, stating that he did not use drugs and announced that he would have the tests repeated at an independent laboratory.

Sadettin Saran, who provided new samples for a second test, was detained again in the evening due to "additional evidence." Saran, who spent the night in police custody, was referred back to the Istanbul Courthouse in the morning after undergoing a medical check-up.

CROWD IN FRONT OF THE COURTHOUSE

Extensive security measures were taken around the Çağlayan Courthouse during Saran's transfer to the courthouse. A large number of Fenerbahçe fans gathered in front of the courthouse to show their support. It was observed that the fans provided support with chants and slogans.

In a statement made by club executives following the release decision, it was stated, "We trust our President's statements. Our confidence in him is absolute. We thank our fans for their support."
