First statement from AKP after the meeting: 'We were pleased'

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel met with President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the AKP Headquarters. The leaders' agenda included topics such as discussions on a new constitution, the judicial crisis, and the economic crisis.

Following the meeting, the first statement from the AKP came from party spokesperson Ömer Çelik.

"RETURN VISIT"

In his statement, Çelik used the following expressions:

"Our President was pleased with the visit of CHP Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel. The visit took place in a positive atmosphere. Our President stated that the dialogue should continue. He will carry out a return visit at a time suitable for his own schedule," he stated.
