First statement from CHP on court ruling: 'Gürsel Tekin's trusteeship duty has now ended'
The Ankara 3rd Civil Court of First Instance has rejected the request to cancel the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress. Evaluating the decision, CHP Deputy Chairman Murat Bakan stated, "Gürsel Tekin's trusteeship duty has now ended."
CHP Deputy Chairman Murat Bakan evaluated the decision made by the Ankara 3rd Civil Court of First Instance regarding the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress.
"TRUSTEESHIP DUTY MUST END"
Speaking on Sözcü TV, Bakan said, "A court rejecting a request on its merits renders the injunction decision issued by the Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance meaningless." Drawing attention to the legal significance of the decision, Bakan used the following expressions:
"The trusteeship duty must now end. When you request an injunction, it must legally be difficult or impossible to compensate for the damages. The court evaluates that and makes a decision. Therefore, the 45th Civil Court must lift the injunction. Gürsel Tekin's trusteeship duty has now ended."
