In a post on his social media account, Deniz Göktaş said that he has not received any official notification regarding the investigation process so far.
Stating that his entire show is still accessible on YouTube, Göktaş said, "Many questions have come in; there is no official information that has reached me. If there is, I will inform you here."
RESPONSE TO CLAIMS ABOUT MOVING ABROAD
Addressing comments that he would move abroad following the allegations against him, Göktaş announced that he has no plans to live outside of Turkey.
In his post, Göktaş stated, "No matter what happens, I have no plans to live or perform stand-up outside of Turkey, because it wouldn't be the same."
An investigation was launched into Deniz Göktaş due to expressions he used in his stand-up show titled "Ölü Deniz."
The reason cited for the investigation was certain expressions included in the show, which was performed at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theater.

In a statement made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was said, "An investigation has been launched by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the suspect Deniz Göktaş, regarding whom criminal expressions were detected in content he published on some social media platforms."
"I WILL RETURN ON THE FIRST FLIGHT IF NECESSARY" HE HAD SAID
In a previous statement made after the news of the investigation, Deniz Göktaş had stated that he was abroad as part of a vacation he had planned for some time.
In that post, Göktaş had used the words, "If there is a situation that requires me to be in Turkey, I will return on the first flight."
