First statement from Yılmaz Özdil after resigning from Sözcü TV! 'To call a thief a thief...'

Yılmaz Özdil, who was brought to lead the Sözcü TV Media Group approximately 3 months ago, has resigned from the institution.

Özdil, who has recently been on the agenda due to his arguments with CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın, spoke for the first time following his resignation.

Making statements regarding the matter on his own YouTube channel, Özdil said, "I have left the Sözcü Group. We will talk about why I left. We will continue to call a Zübük a Zübük, cuckoo eggs cuckoo eggs, to call a thief a thief, and to expose the parasites trying to nestle into the Six Arrows."

HE HAD TAKEN THE POST FOR THE SECOND TIME

Özdil, who was part of the first management team after Sözcü TV was established approximately 3 years ago, had left his post shortly thereafter.

Özdil was brought back to the position of President of the Sözcü Media Group at the beginning of December, and in this capacity, he also took charge of Sözcü TV.

CHANGES HAD BEEN MADE IN MANAGEMENT

Following Özdil's appointment, notable changes took place within the institution. During this process, the organization parted ways with 14 people.

Under Özdil's management, İpek Özbey was brought in as the Editor-in-Chief of Sözcü TV, while Güney Öztürk was appointed as the General Manager.

It was stated that the channel's legal processes were being handled by lawyer Ersan Barkın.
