Floor easement and condominium transactions move to digital: 3D model era begins

General Director of Land Registry and Cadastre Hakan Gedikli announced in a statement that the use of 3D Digital Building Models will become mandatory for floor easement and condominium transactions starting January 1, 2025. The application will be implemented within the scope of the "3D City Models Production and Creation of 3D Cadastre Basemaps Project."

Gedikli stated that this innovation will create a major transformation in the real estate sector. Thanks to the new system, it will be possible to securely record and inspect structures in a digital environment. Transactions will be carried out through 3D building models integrated with architectural projects and will be transferred to the General Directorate in a secure electronic environment.

It was stated that all information can be accessed at the address “dijitalbina.tkgm.gov.tr”.

Gedikli said that the application will not only reflect positively on land registry transactions but also on the real estate sector as a whole. He pointed out that inspecting structures in a digital environment, especially in regions carrying natural disaster risks, will provide great convenience in disaster management.
