Foreign Minister Fidan announces: New measures from Turkey against Israel

Highlights from Minister Fidan's statements are as follows;

We have not remained indifferent to what has been happening since the very first day the events began. We have taken the most correct and courageous stance, and we have stood by our Palestinian brothers and sisters. Today, the whole world is eagerly awaiting the day when Israeli authorities will be held accountable before justice.

"THERE CAN BE NO EXCUSE"

We are making an intense effort to deliver humanitarian aid to our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Our aid has exceeded 42 thousand tons. We are one of the top two countries that have sent the most aid to Gaza.

Our ninth aid ship is on its way. As you know, humanitarian aid has been delivered to Gaza via Jordan for some time. We had also conveyed our request to participate in this humanitarian aid operation with cargo planes belonging to our air force.

We learned today that this request, which was welcomed by the Jordanian authorities, was rejected by Israel. There can be no excuse for Israel's obstruction. In the face of this situation, we have decided to take a series of measures against Israel.

They will be implemented step by step without delay. These measures of ours will continue until Israel declares a ceasefire and allows humanitarian aid to reach Gaza.
