Foreign Minister Fidan speaks at counter-terrorism briefing: 'We will not hesitate to take further measures'
In his speech at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan set a deadline for those supporting the PKK terrorist organization, stating, "If the PUK does not change its attitude toward the PKK despite our sanctions on Sulaymaniyah, we will not hesitate to take further measures."
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan delivered a speech at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) during a briefing session on counter-terrorism.
In his speech, Fidan stated, "If the PUK does not change its approach toward the PKK despite the sanctions we have implemented against Sulaymaniyah, we will not hesitate to take further measures."
Hakan Fidan added, "We are meticulously continuing our efforts to strengthen the Iraqi administration's evolving stance toward the PKK during our ongoing consultation process with Iraqi authorities."
Fidan further remarked, "The effectiveness of the terrorist organization has now come to an end. We will not leave any safe space for the separatist terrorist organization along our borders and beyond."
