Foreign Minister Fidan makes statement on 'Turkey's priority'
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated during his meeting with a Hamas delegation that Turkey's priority is to stop the massacre in Gaza and to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid as soon as possible.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met in Ankara with a Hamas delegation led by the Chairman of the Hamas Shura Council, Mohammed Darwish. The meeting addressed the latest developments in ceasefire negotiations and the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Minister Fidan stated that Turkey's priority is to stop the massacre in Gaza and to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid as soon as possible. He noted that they would not allow the recent tensions in the region to overshadow the genocide taking place in Gaza.
Minister Fidan emphasized that Palestine is a whole with Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, and noted that Turkey will continue to strongly defend and support the cause of the Palestinians until Palestine achieves its freedom.
