The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement regarding the 4-day humanitarian pause agreed upon between Israel and Hamas.
The following statements were included in the announcement made by the Ministry:
"We view the agreement reached between the parties on the declaration of a 4-day humanitarian pause in Gaza, where Israeli forces have continued their attacks for more than six weeks, as a positive development in terms of alleviating the bloodshed to some extent.
We expect full compliance with the agreement, which also includes the release of some of the hostages and detainees and an increase in the amount of humanitarian aid allowed to enter Gaza.
We hope that this humanitarian pause will help bring the conflicts to a complete end as soon as possible and initiate a process towards a just and lasting peace based on a two-state solution, and we appreciate Qatar's efforts in securing this agreement."
Finally, Hamas had announced that the agreement reached for a humanitarian pause in the conflict with Israel would come into effect tomorrow at 10:00.
