Former CHP Provincial General Assembly Member Mehmet Janrat Karaahmet has passed away
Mehmet Janrat Karaahmet, a former Provincial General Assembly Member for the Republican People's Party (CHP) in Bilecik, has passed away.
Mehmet Janrat Karaahmet, a former Provincial General Assembly Member for the CHP who had been battling a relentless illness for some time, passed away yesterday due to pneumonia. Karaahmet's funeral was held today following the noon prayer, after which he was laid to rest at the Bilecik City Cemetery.

The funeral was attended by Bilecik Governor Şefik Aygöl, Deputy Mayor of Bilecik Güven Sönmez, Mayor of Bayırköy Aykut Dilsiz, CHP Bilecik Provincial Chair Ali Özdemir, CHP Central District Deputy Chairs Burak Aslım and Mert Kılıç, provincial general assembly members, former provincial chairs, political party representatives, and many of his loved ones.

On the other hand, it was noted that CHP Bilecik Deputy Yaşar Tüzün did not attend the funeral, and among the CHP mayors, only Bayırköy Mayor Aykut Dilsiz was present.
