Former police chief and FETÖ member caught in his son's office
In Eskişehir, former police chief M.O., a member of FETÖ, was caught hiding in a room at his son's law office and sent to prison.
In Eskişehir, a former police chief identified as M.O., who had a finalized prison sentence of 6 years, 10 months, and 15 days for being a member of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), was caught while hiding in his son's law office.
Under the coordination of the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a special team was formed by the Provincial Police Department's Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence branches to target wanted individuals.
M.O., who previously served as the Deputy Provincial Police Chief of Eskişehir, was dismissed from his profession following FETÖ's coup attempt on July 15, 2016, and was sentenced to 6 years, 10 months, and 15 days in prison during his trial. He was apprehended by police teams during an operation conducted at his son's law office.
The fugitive convict, who was found in a small room at the office, was sent to prison following his processing at the courthouse.
