Former non-commissioned officer found dead in water

After Fatih Tosun, who lived in the Canbalı neighborhood of the Karacabey district, left his home during the night, his family filed a missing person report. According to allegations, Tosun took the car keys from his father at night and left the house, and no further contact could be made with him. Following the family's anxious wait and the missing person report filed with the authorities, search and rescue teams began operations in the area.

The search, which involved the Coast Guard, AFAD, and gendarmerie teams, yielded results in the early hours of the morning. During the operations conducted near Ihlamur Park in the Kurşunlu neighborhood, teams found Tosun motionless in the water at Kurşunlu Beach. It was determined that the young man, who was recovered from the water by police divers dispatched to the scene, had lost his life.

Following the initial examination, his body was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death. It was learned that Tosun had resigned from his position as a non-commissioned officer in Van about two months ago and returned to his hometown.
