Free communication support from mobile operators following Balıkesir earthquake
Following the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir, Turkcell, Türk Telekom, and Vodafone have offered free communication packages to citizens in the region.
GSM operators have announced that they are providing free minutes, data, and SMS services to citizens in Balıkesir and the surrounding areas affected by the earthquake to meet their urgent communication needs.
In its statement, Turkcell said, "We extend our best wishes to all our citizens affected by the earthquake centered in Balıkesir. Free minutes, data, and SMS are being assigned to all our customers in the earthquake zone as part of the Disaster Emergency Procedure."
Türk Telekom issued an announcement stating, "Free data, SMS, and voice services are being assigned to all our customers in the Balıkesir earthquake zone to help them meet their urgent communication needs."
Vodafone also made a similar statement, saying, "We are saddened by the earthquake that occurred in Balıkesir and was also felt in surrounding provinces. Free voice, data, and SMS services are being assigned to our customers located in the earthquake zone for their urgent communication needs."
These support measures aim to meet the communication needs of citizens affected by the earthquake.
