Bad news for Erdoğan from survey of minimum wage earners and tradespeople

ORC Research company examined the voting preferences of minimum wage voters and tradespeople in its latest public opinion poll conducted between September 2-6. The results of the survey provided important clues regarding the political tendencies of these two segments in particular.

According to the study, it was observed that a large portion of minimum wage earners and tradespeople keep their distance from the AKP. On the other hand, the vote gap between the CHP and the AKP emerged at a level that would attract public attention.

1,450 minimum wage voters from 26 different provinces participated in the survey, where the question "If there were an election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?" was asked. The responses pointed to significant changes in the electoral tendencies of the low-income segments of society.

CHP: 33.8 percent

AKP: 29.6 percent

MHP: 6.7 percent

DEM Party: 5.8 percent

Zafer Party: 3.9 percent

Yerli ve Milli Party: 2.3 percent

CHP: 35.5 percent

AKP: 29.8 percent

MHP: 6.8 percent

DEM Party: 5.9 percent
