Bilal Erdoğan warning stirs things up: 'Get well soon in advance'

As potential names for the post-Recep Tayyip Erdoğan era return to the agenda, information coming from party corridors and the assessments being made are drawing attention.

THREE NAMES STAND OUT IN THE CORRIDORS

According to assessments within the party, the names being discussed for the AKP chairmanship include Bilal Erdoğan, Selçuk Bayraktar, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan.

It is reported that these names are being voiced by different factions within the party.

While discussions regarding the process continue, journalist Emre Ercis, who is close to the AKP, used striking language in a post on his social media account.

Ercis shared the following warning regarding the party's future:

“If Bilal Erdoğan is being considered as the General Chairman to lead the AK Party after Erdoğan, then get well soon in advance. An AK Party led by Bilal Erdoğan as General Chairman would not be able to surpass 5% and would become a fringe party after the first election.”
