Bombshell claim in the corridors: Terrorist leader Öcalan is preparing a new party! The name standing out for chairman...
Journalist Sedat Bozkurt has claimed that Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, is taking action to form a new party. Sharing information he obtained from political corridors, Bozkurt also wrote about whom terrorist leader Öcalan is considering for the chairmanship.
Journalist Sedat Bozkurt has brought a striking piece of information circulating in Ankara's political corridors to his column. According to Bozkurt, Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, has begun preparations for a new party. In his article, Bozkurt stated, "The chairman he has in mind is naturally not Selahattin Demirtaş, but Pervin Buldan."
Recalling that in one of his meetings with a delegation in Imralı, the terrorist leader Öcalan criticized the statement "We will not make you president," which former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş made in 2015 regarding AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Bozkurt wrote that Öcalan evaluated this move by saying, "There was no need to antagonize Erdoğan."
Stating that this information reached him from political corridors, Bozkurt reported the following:
"It looks like the DEM Party will be shut down. Öcalan is preparing to establish a new party with a new name that includes the word 'Turkey'. He is reportedly going to write the party program himself. This information is based on second-hand intelligence from the corridors. The new party will be Öcalan's party, not a party in his orbit that claims him. The chairman he has in mind is naturally not Selahattin Demirtaş, but Pervin Buldan. If the HDP is not shut down and Demirtaş can get out, and if Öcalan also establishes this new party, the Kurdish front of politics will become quite active."
THE ÖCALAN-DEMİRTAŞ DIVERGENCE
In his article today, Sedat Bozkurt wrote the following section, which draws attention under the headline 'Öcalan's party is on the way':
It is known that Öcalan reacted to Demirtaş's "We will not make you president" outburst. Bringing this issue back to the agenda in one of the recent meetings, Öcalan recalled it with the words, "Our job is not to prevent someone from becoming president; I found it very wrong, and I told Sırrı that I found it wrong. He had also made a mistake."
Bozkurt also recalled the meeting notes dated February 23, 2013, writing that at that time, Öcalan said, "We support Mr. Tayyip's presidency. We can fundamentally enter into a presidential alliance with the AKP." Stating that these words were recorded years before Demirtaş's "we will not make you president" outburst, Bozkurt underlined that this is a very fundamental point of divergence.
"THAT STATEMENT WAS THE LEADER'S SUGGESTION"
Sharing the details that Sırrı Süreyya Önder told him, Bozkurt stated that Önder said he was actually the one who suggested Demirtaş's "We will not make you president" outburst. Bozkurt noted that Önder stated these words were brought to the agenda by Öcalan in the next meeting and were criticized. Thus, he expressed that this information reached Öcalan directly.
REGIONAL PICTURE AND THE NEW PARTY SCENARIO
In his article, Bozkurt stated that the process being carried out by Erdoğan and Bahçeli in Syria is also progressing painfully, and that the SDF issue is not at a point that can be easily resolved. He pointed out that under these conditions, both continuing and ending the process carry serious political risks.
Then, returning to the information from the corridors, Bozkurt noted the following:
"The HDP is not being shut down, but it looks like the DEM Party will be. If the HDP is not shut down and Demirtaş can get out, and if Öcalan also establishes this new party, the Kurdish front of politics will become quite active.
One cannot help but wonder, will they manage to divide this place too?"
