Cem Küçük practically 'gave the address' for the next operation! 'The indictment is being written quickly...'

The investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the İBB on March 19 is ongoing. In the 9th wave of the operation, 44 people, including Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney, were detained.

Cem Küçük, a columnist for Türkiye Gazetesi known for his proximity to the government and for announcing recent operations days in advance, practically gave the 'address' for the next operation in his latest column.

Claiming that the case involving the İBB, in which Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is also mentioned, could encompass holiday resorts in the south, Küçük wrote the following in his column today:

"The allegations of corruption and bribery within the İBB are of a terrifying scale. There is an incredible network. The network, referred to as the 'System,' has reached many individuals and institutions. It is established through the testimonies of those benefiting from effective remorse and MASAK reports that millions of liras in corruption were carried out within the İBB, particularly in media and cultural affairs.

Outdoor advertising business dealings through the İBB could extend to former and current mayors of certain holiday resorts in the south. Just as the Aziz İhsan Aktaş case extended to Adana, it may also visit our beautiful holiday resort districts based on other testimonies.

Now, if what I say turns out to be true, they will ask, 'How did you know?' They will say, 'The prosecutor told you.' Of course, that has nothing to do with it. If the testimonies are read in full, it will already be seen.

Meanwhile, the İBB indictment is being written quickly. It is highly likely to be released within the month of October. Let's see if those who say the 'file is empty' will still call it 'empty' once the indictment is released?"
