A memorial program was held for teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, who lost her life as a result of a knife attack at the Çekmeköy Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Istanbul's Çekmeköy district.
Teachers, students, parents, and numerous citizens attended the ceremony held in the school courtyard. Participants commemorated Fatma Nur Çelik with prayers.
It was observed that students and colleagues experienced emotional moments during the ceremony.
Footage recorded by a drone showed the crowd filling the school courtyard gathering in an orderly fashion and the moments when flowers were left in the area where the teacher's photograph was placed.
The high turnout at the memorial program drew attention.
