Claim that 'terrorist organization PKK notified the state': New date for the so-called congress!

According to information circulating in security and political circles in Ankara, the terrorist organization PKK is preparing to convene its so-called congress within the month of May. It is stated that the organization will take this long-delayed step in line with the call made by the organization's ringleader, Öcalan.

PKK ringleader Öcalan had called on the organization to "lay down arms and dissolve itself" in a statement made on February 27, 2025.

However, the expected 'congress' had not been convened in the time that has passed since. While the exact reason for the delay in the process is unknown, it is alleged that significant developments have taken place in this direction in recent weeks.

According to a report by T24 columnist Ceren Bayar, the organization has conveyed its decision to hold its so-called congress to state officials.

The report states that this step has also been notified to Ankara, and therefore the preparations are being monitored through official channels as well.

Among the information received is that the congress will not be directly managed by the terrorist ringleader Öcalan, but that a comprehensive message from him will be read at the congress.

It is stated that the framework and justifications regarding the organization's dissolution process are expected to be clarified in this message.
