According to information reported by Cumhuriyet, while the names to be included in the new cabinet are expected to become clear shortly, it is being evaluated that some figures with high public recognition and political weight could enter the list.

It is stated that paths may be parted with some ministers whose performance in the current cabinet is found to be insufficient, and that a cabinet structure with stronger political capacity and greater public resonance is being targeted for the new term.

It is anticipated that the planned change will be effective not only in domestic political balances but also in the management approach in critical areas, primarily the economy and foreign policy.

It is noted that the new cabinet, which will be shaped under the leadership of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, aims to demonstrate a stronger management will in the face of increasing political and economic pressures.

‘YOUNG, VISIBLE NAMES IN THE FIELD’ ARE WANTED

Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan could be dismissed, and that new or former political actors with strong public appeal could replace them.

It is stated that these names are on the change list in the corridors due to reasons such as “low performance” or “failure to create sufficient impact on the public.” It is noted that more popular names are on the table to replace the current ministers.
