Cübbeli Ahmet arrived at the event in a vehicle with flashing lights: Declared 'We are Sharia supporters' and showered praise on Minister of National Education Tekin

Speaking at an event held at the Kocaeli İzmit Atatürk Sports Hall, Cübbeli Ahmet attended the program jointly organized by the Maşukiye Kevser Association, the Ottoman Science and Culture Association, HEYDER, and the Derman Association.

Despite the Ministry of Interior's announcement that “drivers using flashing lights will be fined 96,000 TL,” his arrival at the event in two vehicles equipped with such lights drew attention.

'WE ARE SHARIA SUPPORTERS, WE HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE'

Cübbeli Ahmet, who spoke for approximately two hours, used the following expressions regarding the regime and Sharia:

“We are Sharia supporters, friends; what business do we have with this regime! We have nothing to hide. They won't leave you or me alone, but we are speaking about everything openly. The MIT is listening; it's a pity for the intelligence service, a waste of resources.”

The Ministry of National Education's decision to schedule exams on December 31 and January 2, which coincided with the New Year's holiday, had sparked reactions. However, Cübbeli Ahmet supported this decision and showered Minister Yusuf Tekin with praise.

Regarding Yusuf Tekin, Cübbeli Ahmet said, “The Minister of National Education knows his business, good for him! Do the children have any business going to New Year's preparations? May God be pleased with the Minister. We have never seen such a smart Minister until today.”

Cübbeli Ahmet's “We are Sharia supporters” remark, as well as his attendance at the event in two vehicles with flashing lights, became a subject of criticism. Despite the Ministry of Interior's recent decisions restricting the use of flashing lights, the disregard for this rule drew backlash on social media.
