After killing his wife, police officer Mehmet Tehçi took his 2 children and went to the house of his father-in-law, Yusuf Tehçi. There, police officer Mehmet Tehçi killed Yusuf Tehçi and his mother-in-law, Hüsne Tehçi, by slitting their throats, and stabbed his father-in-law's sister, Semihe Tehçi, in the heart.

MURDERED HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW, A MATH TEACHER

After killing his mother-in-law, father-in-law, and his father-in-law's sister, Mehmet Tehçi set out to kill his brother-in-law, İsmail Tehçi (40).

He went to the tutoring center where İsmail Tehçi, a math teacher, worked and picked him up under the pretext of "we need to discuss an important matter." While the children were in the vehicle, police officer Tehçi shot his brother-in-law in the leg. Mehmet Tehçi then took his brother-in-law to a wooded area, where he first stabbed him in various parts of his body and then killed him by shooting him in the head and chest with his service pistol.

CAUGHT WHILE HEADING TO OSMANIYE TO KILL RELATIVES

Tehçi then set out by car toward Osmaniye to kill his relatives living there as well. However, when it was discovered in the morning that 3 people had been killed in a house in Adana, the police immediately launched an operation to catch the suspect.

Teams from the Murder Bureau of the Adana Police Department's Public Security Branch anticipated that the suspect would go to Osmaniye and took precautions on the road. The suspect was caught in the Yılan Kale area of Ceyhan. The detained suspect was taken to the police station.

COMMITTED THE ACT IN FRONT OF HIS CHILDREN

It was learned that police officer Mehmet Tehçi put his children in the next room while he tortured and killed his wife, Ferdane Tehçi, and later brought the children with him to Adana. It is alleged that Tehçi made his children wait in the vehicle while he killed his mother-in-law, father-in-law, and his father-in-law's sister, and that the children waited in the car while he killed his brother-in-law.
