Dialogue revealing the Grand Kartal Hotel fire was an accident waiting to happen emerges! A hotel guest issued a warning 1 year ago

In the fire that broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel, located in the Kartalkaya Ski Center, a well-known hotel that hosts thousands of people every year in Bolu, 78 people lost their lives. Dozens of people were also injured in the fire.

A user who commented on the Grand Kartal Hotel's Instagram account shared the dialogue that took place between them and the manager of the hotel where they stayed 1 year ago.

HOTEL MANAGER: OUR HOTEL IS AUTHENTIC, WE WILL INSTALL SUCH A SYSTEM IN THE FUTURE

"I stayed at this hotel last year and I personally told the hotel manager, 'Why are there no fire extinguishing sensors and sprinklers in the rooms in a hotel identified with such red pine wood?' The hotel manager's response was, 'Sir, our hotel is authentic, since it is a 60-year-old hotel, we will install such a system in the future, God willing,' he said, and it burned down. It is a pity, may God grant the deceased a place in heaven."
