Everywhere turned white: Snow scenes from across the country

The first snow of the season fell in Ankara. Residents of Ankara enjoyed the snow with their families in iconic locations such as Kuğulu Park, Seğmenler, and Atakule.

The first snowfall of the year, which began during the night in the Sulakyurt district of Kırıkkale, covered the city center and higher elevations in a white blanket.

Snowfall increased in intensity, especially in higher elevations.

According to meteorological data, the snowfall is expected to continue its effect during the morning hours.

Following two days of heavy rain in Antalya, intense snowfall began at the Alacabel location, at an altitude of 1825 meters on the Akseki-Seydişehir Highway, which connects Antalya to Konya.

The snow depth reached 10-15 centimeters in some places.

In Kastamonu, while snowfall continues to affect the province, the previously closed Kastamonu-Ankara Highway has been reopened to traffic.

The snowfall is expected to continue in the city.

Snowfall was effective in the higher districts of Istanbul's Anatolian Side.

The downpour, which was intermittent during the night in the city, gave way to snowfall, particularly in the higher parts of Kartal, Beykoz, Çekmeköy, Pendik, Sultanbeyli, and Sancaktepe on the Anatolian Side.

In Aksaray, as the storm and rain gave way to snowfall, salting operations began on the roads due to the snowfall, which is particularly affecting highways.
