Father who went viral for cooking for his children lands a steady job

AKP Deputy Ceyda Bölünmez Çankırı met with the family living in the 2nd Kadriye neighborhood of the Konak district. Chatting with 10-year-old Yağmur Su and 7-year-old Yusuf, who filmed the video that gained attention on social media, Çankırı gave gifts to the children.

During the visit, an early birthday celebration was held for Yağmur Su, and a cake was cut.

Stating that she was very moved when she watched the footage on social media, Çankırı said, "The devotion of our brother İbrahim and the happiness of the children moved me deeply. Both as a woman and as someone responsible for this city, it brought me here today."

Explaining that she read İbrahim Kale's story in a report by Anadolu Agency, Çankırı spoke as follows:

"I would also like to thank the AA team. Thanks to you, we reached the family. We are visiting, and shortly we will take the children to school. We will talk about what we can do for our children in the new academic year. Our brother İbrahim has been both a mother and a father to his children. At the same time, he is trying to maintain his household.

The father had one wish: 'As long as I can work steadily in a job with social security.' Now we have arranged that too. In this sense, İzmir is a city with awareness, thanks to its philanthropists and business people. We are trying to reach everyone in need one by one."

Deputy Çankırı added that teams from the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services would provide support services to the children.

Father İbrahim Kale could not hold back his tears while expressing his happiness about having a job with social security.

Expressing that he was very joyful, Kale said, "I don't know what to say. I am very happy. May God be pleased.

I wanted a job with social security for the health and security of my children.

Thank God."
