Fatih Altaylı makes a bombshell claim about Kılıçdaroğlu! '30 percent of the parliamentary group...'
Journalist Fatih Altaylı, while sharing information regarding the September 15th hearing for the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, brought up a striking claim about Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
While the appointment of Gürsel Tekin as a trustee to the CHP İstanbul Provincial Presidency remains a hot topic, all eyes in the party are also turned toward the congress case on September 15.
As Gürsel Tekin's entry into the CHP provincial building under police escort heightened tensions, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's silence throughout the process has drawn attention.
The harshest reaction to Kılıçdaroğlu came from CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır. Expressing his resentment toward Kılıçdaroğlu, Başarır said, "When he wasn't elected president, I couldn't sleep for 8 hours, I had nervous breakdowns. I expected him to stand by his party, but not a single tweet was posted during this process." Başarır, who was teary-eyed at times, added, "Our friends, with whom we walked for years, were exposed to gas. Is this seat that important? It is not more important than my country."
Former CHP leader Hikmet Çetin had previously made striking assessments regarding Kılıçdaroğlu's silence following his meeting with MHP's Feti Yıldız. Çetin's words, "Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu wants to take charge of the party. Kemal Bey is not speaking at all. I think he has such an intention, but it would be very bad, he wouldn't be able to go out on the street," became a major talking point.
Despite these statements, Kılıçdaroğlu, who continues to maintain his silence, was seen yesterday as he entered his office in Ankara. When asked about the ongoing process, Kılıçdaroğlu did not respond, saying only "Thank you."
Journalist Fatih Altaylı, who was arrested and sent to Silivri Prison on charges of threatening the President, made assessments that will shake the agenda regarding the September 15 congress case and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
Stating that it is being discussed in the corridors that an absolute nullity decision will be issued regarding the congress case, Altaylı claimed that 30 percent of the CHP deputies in the parliamentary group would return to Kılıçdaroğlu. In a letter sent through his lawyers, Altaylı noted the following:
“It seems that almost everyone has started to think that this case will result against the CHP management, and calculations are being made about what will happen afterward.”
“What is being discussed is this: Kılıçdaroğlu returns, the congress is canceled one way or another. Kılıçdaroğlu forms his team within the party.”
“Some will return immediately, those who do not will be neutralized. Kemal Bey will immediately cancel the rallies, those lying in Silivri will not be supported. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will remain at the head of the party for at least 1.5 years.”
“It is said that 30% of the parliamentary group will return to Kılıçdaroğlu. I don't know. I don't understand the internal balances of the party.”
“This is the claim of those who know this party well, or who say they know it well. If this is true, the CHP's votes could be devastated.”
“All of this creates a great distrust in politics. The CHP's resistance is receiving positive reactions, but at the same time, the unrest within the party is unsettling people. It is truly not pleasant that two CHP members who resigned in Beykoz, especially the deputy mayor Özlem Vural, were individuals sent to the Beykoz Municipal Council from Beylikdüzü. It is nauseating.”
“To speak frankly, Özgür Özel's well-intentioned efforts are being wasted.”
