As the argument intensified, the fight included swearing and physical intervention. It was reported that Mecnun Odyakmaz's bodyguard and people in the vicinity intervened to try to break up the fight.
However, as the dimensions of the incident grew, the matter was reported to TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu.
As the fight grew, phone traffic increased, and while those who intervened hoped for a peaceful resolution, the tension rose even further.
