Habertürk anchor Ela Cebeci trapped in building due to harasser

Ela Rümeysa Cebeci, an anchor on Habertürk, shared on social media that she was being harassed. Cebeci was trapped in the channel's building due to an individual who came to the front of the building and claimed he would marry her.

"THIS HELPLESSNESS IS UNACCEPTABLE"

In a post on her social media account regarding the moments, Cebeci rebelled against the situation, writing, "This helplessness is unacceptable! We women cannot be condemned to this helplessness."

In her post, Cebeci stated, "Unfortunately, due to a legal loophole, we cannot do anything to this person."

WHO IS ELA RÜMEYSA CEBECİ?

Ela Rümeysa Cebeci was born on May 31, 1988, in Istanbul. After completing her undergraduate studies at Yeditepe University, she earned a master's degree in acting at Bahçeşehir University.

Continuing her interest in education, Cebeci also completed a master's degree in the Department of Politics and Cultural Studies at Istanbul Bilgi University.

Also embarking on an academic career, Cebeci currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Nişantaşı University.

Cebeci began her career in 2011 at Istanbul FM radio, where she first made her voice heard.

Following her radio career, she stepped into the television world and took roles in projects such as Kanıt, Şevkat Yerimdar, and Fatih 1453.

These experiences earned her a solid place in the media world. Cebeci, who began her television career as a reporter at TRT 1, later took on the role of anchor at TV100.

Today, she meets with her audience by hosting the 'Gün Başlıyor' (The Day Begins) program, which airs every weekday between 6 and 9 on Habertürk TV.
