Horrific incident in Kocaeli! Police officer shot and killed in the head by his wife
In an incident that occurred in the Körfez district of Kocaeli, police officer Sinan Cem Bayır was shot in the head and killed by his wife at their home. An investigation has been launched into the chilling event.
The incident took place in a building on Şeyda Street in the Yavuz Sultan Selim neighborhood of the Körfez district. According to the information obtained, police officer Sinan Cem Bayır was found by his wife at their home, having been shot in the head with a handgun.
Bayır's wife immediately called the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The medical teams that arrived at the scene in a short time determined that police officer Bayır had lost his life.
Following the work of the crime scene investigation teams, the police officer's body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
HE WAS UNDERGOING CANCER TREATMENT
It was learned that Sinan Cem Bayır was undergoing cancer treatment, and the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
