Latest poll results surprise: Both fell below the threshold!

The results of a public opinion survey conducted across 26 provinces in Turkey have been shared. In the poll carried out by MLS Research Consultancy with 2,140 participants, voters were asked, "Which party would you vote for if a general election were held tomorrow?"

THE GAP BETWEEN THE TWO MAJOR PARTIES HAS NARROWED

According to the poll results, the vote gap between the two major parties has narrowed. The Republican People's Party (CHP) ranked first with 32 percent of the vote. The Justice and Development Party (AKP) was measured in second place with 30 percent of the vote.

ONLY THREE PARTIES SURPASS THE THRESHOLD

One of the striking points in the research was the limited number of parties able to surpass the election threshold. According to the results, in addition to the AKP and CHP, the DEM Party was also among the parties that surpassed the threshold.

The DEM Party's vote share was measured at 7 percent. This rate indicated that the party is at the threshold limit.

MHP FELL BELOW THE THRESHOLD

According to the poll results, the vote share of the ruling coalition partner, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), was determined to be 6.5 percent. With this rate, it was observed that the MHP remained below the election threshold.

The İYİ Party, which received over 9 percent of the vote in the previous general election, found 5.7 percent support in the poll.

The vote shares of the other parties included in the research were announced as follows:

Great Unity Party (BBP): 4.2 percent

Victory Party (Zafer Partisi): 3.9 percent

New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi): 2.5 percent

Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi): 2.5 percent

Key Party (Anahtar Parti): 2.2 percent

Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP): 1.3 percent

Other: 2.2 percent
