Meteorology issues warning: It is arriving in Turkey on Friday morning!

While millions of citizens are wondering when cold weather will arrive, the effects of the winter season have begun to appear in the weather forecast report published by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM).

The map, which shows almost the entire country under precipitation except for the eastern parts of Turkey, also indicates that temperatures will drop suddenly by 4-5 degrees. Meteorological sources emphasized that in addition to the expectation of heavy rain, the effects of the winter season will begin permanently as of Friday.

THE FIRST SNOW OF THE YEAR MAY FALL IN ISTANBUL NEXT WEEK

The first snow that fell on the high parts of the Black Sea region and Uludağ in recent weeks will turn into heavy snowfall in the high regions and ski resorts of the country as of this week.

Air temperatures, which will begin to drop on Friday, will hit rock bottom as of November 19. According to Global Forecast System reports, the first snow of the season may be seen in Istanbul next week. The data indicates that early winter conditions will continue to be effective until November 24, after which temperatures are expected to return to seasonal norms.
