Ministry inspectors conduct investigation following disaster in Bolu

78 people lost their lives in the fire that broke out on January 21 at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center. Following the fire, chief inspectors from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, along with Bolu Provincial Social Security Director Mehmet Hanefi Taştan, conducted inspections at the hotel.

CHIEF INSPECTORS CONDUCTED INVESTIGATION

The chief inspectors left the area after conducting investigations at the scene of the fire for some time. Minister Vedat Işıkhan stated that the investigations would be carried out by four chief inspectors and that the process would be closely monitored.

The chief inspectors, who conducted an investigation at the scene of the fire for some time, later left the area.

Taştan told reporters that the chief inspectors were conducting investigations and research, and that a report would be prepared.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan had announced that four chief inspectors had been assigned regarding the fire at the hotel.

Minister Işıkhan had stated that the necessary investigations would be carried out and that the Ministry was closely following the process.
