In Bolu Kartalkaya, it has been imaged that the rear facade of the Bolu Grand Kartal Hotel, where 78 people lost their lives, was completely burned; this area, being the entrance section to the ski slope and facing the hillside, was where fire trucks experienced difficulty in intervening.

MOST OF THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE SAVED WERE ON THE REAR FACADE

It was stated that those who could not be saved at the Bolu Grand Kartal Hotel, which had 238 registered guests and where 78 people lost their lives, were generally those staying in rooms in the rear section of the hotel.

Fire department personnel working to extinguish the fire had experienced difficulty in intervening in the rear facade facing the ski slope due to the hotel's location.

It was seen that the rear section of the hotel, which faces the hillside area due to the ski slope, was completely burned.

THEY ADVANCED BY BREAKING THE WINDOWS

On the day of the incident, fire department personnel had advanced by breaking the windows on the front facade to rescue those trapped in the rooms in the rear section of the hotel.
