Much-discussed CHP claim regarding Bülent Arınç: Is he preparing to be a backup candidate?

A striking claim has emerged regarding Bülent Arınç, one of the founding members of the AKP.

According to information obtained by Enver Aysever, Bülent Arınç, a founder of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), and Deputy Prime Minister, is preparing to join the Republican People's Party (CHP).

HE HAD DEFENDED İMAMOĞLU

In a statement made in recent weeks, Arınç evaluated the cancellation of the diploma of the imprisoned Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, supporting him by saying, "This decision is not correct. Those who think a conspiracy was set up are not unjustified."

A BACKUP CANDIDATE FOR THE PRESIDENCY?

According to Aysever's claims, it is being discussed that not only is he joining the CHP, but Arınç is also being kept in reserve for a presidential candidacy.

It is alleged that if İmamoğlu becomes a presidential candidate, Arınç could take an active role in the campaign and travel across Turkey with Özgür Özel.

Enver Aysever reported that Arınç has recently been standing close to Özgür Özel and has highlighted Özel's name as a new political breath in Turkey. It is claimed that Arınç said, "Turkey needs a new political climate. Özgür Özel could be the carrier of this climate."

'WISE PERSON' FORMULA ON THE TABLE

The claims are not limited to this. It is suggested that Bülent Arınç has an idea that Ekrem İmamoğlu should be the presidential candidate, Özgür Özel should be the CHP Chairman, and he himself should be the 'wise person' of this process.
