Following the manifesto published by the terrorist organization PKK in recent days, in which it announced that it had dissolved itself, all eyes have turned to the disarmament process.

It has been learned that an important meeting will be held in Erbil, Iraq, in the coming days to coordinate the process.

CRITICAL MEETING IN ERBIL

At the meeting, which is expected to take place on Thursday or Friday, details regarding the conditions and locations under which PKK members will lay down their arms will be clarified.

According to a report by Ekol TV, it has been claimed that the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), the National Intelligence Organization (MİT), the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, and the so-called leaders of the PKK will also attend the meeting.

The disarmament process is expected to continue in stages throughout the summer months. In the first phase, disarmament points will be established in certain areas along the border line.

Regarding the fate and supervision of the surrendered weapons, it is planned to establish security mechanisms between the parties.
