New development in the Narin Güran case: Commission members to participate as a party
In the second hearing of the case regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır, scheduled for December 26, members of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Human Rights Investigation Commission will also follow the case as a "party."
It has been learned that members of the TBMM Human Rights Investigation Commission will follow the second hearing of the case—in which 4 detained defendants are being tried with a request for aggravated life imprisonment for the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır—as a "party" on December 26.
According to the report by Ceren Baya Teke from T24, the Human Rights Investigation Commission consists of 12 members from the AK Party, 4 from the CHP, 2 each from the DEM, MHP, and IYI Party, and 1 member each from HÜDA-PAR and the Saadet Party.
The commission is chaired by Derya Yanık of the AK Party.
