New list from the Ministry of Agriculture: Fraudulent products announced brand by brand

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to track companies engaging in fraud to ensure food safety and continues to update and share the list every day.

The Ministry announces such companies via the "guvenilirgida.tarimorman.gov.tr" website. The new list published on December 3 has once again brought the fraud committed in the food sector to light.

According to the new list, the number of products confirmed to be imitation-adulterated has risen to 781, and the number of products endangering health has risen to 168.

20 NEW PRODUCTS ADDED TO THE LIST

There are a total of 10 brands on the list of foods that endanger health as of December 2, and a total of 10 brands on the list of foods that have been imitated and adulterated.

In the latest tests, unauthorized dyes were detected in vegetable oil blends, sumac, chili flakes, and chili powder, while pharmaceutical active ingredients were detected in energy drinks, pastes, chocolate, and carbonated beverages.

Seed oil was detected in olive oil, and cow's milk was detected in full-fat buffalo mozzarella fresh cheese,

a low fat ratio was detected in butter, and poultry meat was detected in Urfa Kebab mix,

while offal was detected in minced meat pastry filling and beef sausage.
