It has been revealed that in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, Amir Yazıcı (44) strangled his daughter, Su Dilem Yazıcı (13), to death and then cut both of her wrists to make it appear as a murder-suicide.

The incident took place on the previous evening on Bedri Rahmi Street in the Hatipler neighborhood of Çorlu. Amir Yazıcı, who had previously divorced his wife and worked at a factory, shared a note on his social media account referring to his ex-wife, stating, 'G.U. is responsible for our deaths. May you forgive me. Farewell.'

Relatives who saw the post and could not reach Yazıcı reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Police and medical teams dispatched to the address had a locksmith open the door and found Amir Yazıcı wounded with cuts on his wrists and his daughter, Su Dilem Yazıcı, dead. Amir Yazıcı was taken to Çorlu State Hospital for treatment.

CUTS FOUND ON THE GIRL'S WRISTS

The duty prosecutor from the Çorlu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, along with teams from the District Police Department's Public Security Bureau and crime scene investigation police, conducted a detailed examination of the house and the body of the deceased, Su Dilem Yazıcı.

During the examination, it was found that Su Dilem, an 8th-grade student at Mustafa Cezzar Primary School, had cuts deeper than 1 centimeter on both of her wrists caused by a sharp object.

FATHER CONFESSED EVERYTHING

Amir Yazıcı was taken into custody by the police after his treatment at the hospital. Giving contradictory statements, Yazıcı later explained that he had strangled his daughter to death and then cut both her wrists and his own to make it look like a suicide.

THE REASON WAS HER BOYFRIEND!

Stating that he saw a post on his daughter's social media account with her boyfriend, Yazıcı reportedly said, "Shortly after my daughter and I returned from school, we argued for these reasons. Then, in a fit of anger, I strangled my daughter on the sofa. I cut both her wrists. Later, I took pills and cut my own wrists with the intention of committing suicide."

The mother, G.U., also stated in her police testimony that she learned her daughter had been picked up by her father after school yesterday, and that she received a message from Su Dilem's phone saying, 'Mom, why did you kill me? I died because of you. What did I tell you? Didn't I say I would make you experience the greatest pain in this world? Take it, live with it, you are a murderer.'

MOTHER EXPERIENCES GREAT GRIEF

Su Dilem Yazıcı was laid to rest yesterday at Havuzlar Cemetery amidst tears following the funeral prayer held at Çorlu Garage Mosque.

G.U., who clung to her daughter's coffin, wept, saying, “My beautiful daughter, my daughter whose scent I couldn't get enough of, how did they put you in this coffin? I cannot leave you like this. My mother, my beautiful daughter.”
