Poll of the last 9 months: How many points is the gap between İmamoğlu and Erdoğan?

A striking response came from the CHP to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's statement, "We are the leading party in the polls."

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın shared public opinion poll data covering the last nine months.

In the research conducted by the Ankara Research and Consultancy (AnkAr) company, the average of public opinion polls from the period between October 2024 and June 2025 was calculated.

According to the data, while the vote gap between the CHP and the AKP is widening, a significant increase was also observed in the vote percentage gap between Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and President Erdoğan.

CHP IS RISING, AKP IS STAGNATING

According to the poll results, the CHP's vote share rose from 31.2 percent in October 2024 to 34.6 percent in June 2025.

The AKP, meanwhile, was only able to increase from 29 percent to 29.7 percent in the same period.

This revealed that while the CHP increased its votes by approximately 3.5 points, the AKP was only able to show an increase of 0.7 points.

İMAMOĞLU IS AHEAD BY A CLEAR MARGIN

Striking results were also included in the preference polls conducted at the presidential level. While support for Ekrem İmamoğlu was 54.6 percent in October 2024, this rate rose to 58.6 percent in June 2025.

During the same period, Erdoğan's vote share fell from 45.4 percent to 41.4 percent. Thus, the gap between the two names rose to 13.2 points.

In the statement he made along with the data he shared, CHP's Gökhan Günaydın said, "The change trend in CHP-AKP and İmamoğlu-Erdoğan votes over the last nine months. It is not momentary, it is a trend. It is possible and meaningful to read everything that has been experienced from here. The way out is also here."
